Lives filled with darkness
Lives filled with pain
Lives bound for Hell and the grave
They have rejected the Lord of Creation
Choosing to die in their sins.
Day time and darkness
Night time and noon time
I’ve walked through them both in my life
Now He is my light and the Son lights my pathway
I’ll never fear darkness again.
Jesus, my Savior, my Lord and Redeemer
He is my light and my song.
And I will exalt Him
I know Him, I love Him
My Master, my Lord, and my King.
Lives that are hopeless,
Lives in despair
Lives that know nothing of love
Hearing the call many times but rejecting
The Savior of Life ever more.
He makes me to wander
Through mountains and valleys
But never to wander alone
Now as I grow older
I’m looking forward
To seeing Him as He sees me.
