Sittin’ here and thinkin’ on a rainy day
Wishin’ I could leave and take my fears away
Half asleep and feelin’ bad and holdin’ my head;
Should have stayed in bed
But then I came here instead.
Since I met my Jesus, Lord,

Life really isn’t bad now as it used to be,
