My Lord Jesus is still the King of all of creation
He's the ruler of all of the isles and all of the nations.
He made the moon to rule in the night, the sun for the daytime,
And to all men he gave breath of life, made in his own image.
God sang a song, and all the stars did reply,
He raised the firmament high, dividing the waters from land,
And with his hand, he shaped the wonder of life
The perfect design by his sight, then he rested and said "It is good."
He made his plans to save us sin, there at the beginning,
For he knew the weakness of Man, his bent toward sinning.
And when Adam suffered the fall, and brought us damnation,
The Lord Jesus paid for it all, his blood brought salvation.
So now God's plan is now approaching its end
The darkness it seems has control, and Satan is having his day,
But we know how the rest of the story will go,
For Jesus the Conqueror comes, and soon he'll carry us home.
