Fundraising Letter for Church Building - United Ministries Pakistan

Dearest Brethren in Christ,

United Ministries Pakistan is an active, growing ministry in Faisalabad, Pakistan.  We serve hundreds of believers through several areas of ministry, and more people are coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ every day.  Unfortunately, we do not have permanent facilities for the ministry, and our ability to reach the various areas of the city for Christ is severely limited as a result.  We are believing God for the finances to build a church building, but in order to do this, we need your help.

The amount of funds required is large, but we serve a big God.  We need to purchase 10,800 square feet of land in Daud Nagar Warispura, half for the church building, and half for the surrounding open area.  The church will accommodate 550 to 600 people.  We need to raise a total of Rs 9,660,000 (about $161,000), which includes Rs 4,392,000 (about $73,250) for property, and Rs 5,265,000 ($87,750) for construction of the church building.

United Ministries Pakistan serves the people of Faisalabad in many different ways.  These include a school, a sewing center, a free dispensary, a women's ministry, and evangelistic outreaches through preaching, teaching, personal witnessing, and scripture distribution.  Our future needs include a school building, which we presently do not have, and ministry transportation.  We presently have to use public transportation.  The center of our ministry, however, is the church, and to grow and flourish a church needs a permanent building.

We fervently desire the ongoing support of other believers, both here in Pakistan, and in other countries.  We will accept offerings of any size, either as a one time gift or in the form of periodic gifts on an ongoing basis.  If you live outside Pakistan, we ask that you send your gifts by Western Union, as there is a large fee for converting foreign currencies here.  Your group or church may wish to adopt United Ministries Pakistan as a missions outreach.  If so, we will gladly provide you with additional details about our ministry.
