Greetings to you in Jesus Holy name and thank you for your fervent prayers! We give thanks to our heavenly father for His blessing that we could see another year. We wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year! We are happy that we have again got the opportunity to share about our ministry in Faisalabad, Pakistan. We know that there are many brothers and sisters, who are continuously praying for our ministry. We thank you all for it. We once again thank and praise our Lord and Saviour for giving us an opportunity to share about our ministry work for the month of January 2007.

Sunday Services

In the month of January 2007 Sunday services in seven areas of United Ministries Pakistan were held regularly. We arranged special prayer meetings for how to pray in the year 2007. In our Sunday services the size of congregations is increasing in prayer meeting so we are praying for a separate church building for each area. Please continue to pray for us and for our regular prayer meetings.

Outreach Gospel Program

We are winning many souls for Lord Jesus Christ in the Outreach Gospel Program. The Outreach Gospel program wazs greatly blessed in the month of January 2007. We need more then 300 Urdu Bibles for the Outreach Gospel Program. Outreach prayer meetings have been greatly blessed in Akbarabad, Rabuwa, Nasrat Colony, Chak # 213, Rasool Park, Dasua, Fairoz Watooan, Malkhanwala and Peer Kalian Colony, Shorkoat, Railway Quarter, Tamboo Colony, Goghuwal, Mariam Abad, Gojra, Nishatabad, Chamanzar Colony, Waheed Park, and Ghulam Muhammadabad. Please continue to pray for us and for our Outreach Gospel Program. We need 300 Urdu Bibles on an urgent basis for the Outreach Gospel program. We are praying for Urdu Bibles and we are praying for Ministry transportation as we have no ministry conveyance and have to travel on public transport. By having ministry transport we can increase our Outreach Gospel program.

Biblical Teaching for Youth

In the month of January 2007 Bible teaching classes were conducted regularly. Four pastors, namely Pastor Yaqoob Sardar (Topic: Owner of a House, Matthew 13:52), Pastor Yousaf Azad (Topic: Obedient Servants, Luke 17:7-10), Pastor Javaid Hadayat (Topic: Rich Fool, Luke12:146-21) and Pastor Saleem Sadiq (Topic: Sheep and Goats, Matthew 25:31-46). The youth are learning the word of God with great Spirit. We are planning for youth seminars for the year 2007 where youth can learn more, and learn how to preach in different circumstance. We want to start more Biblical teaching program in different areas for youth. Please pray for this program.

Sunday School

The Sunday School program is running in four areas of Faisalabad, namely Railway Colony, 213-Maryamabad, Waheed Park, and Warispura, Faisalabad. In the month of January 2007 the Sunday School classes were given regularly in these areas and the number of children is increasing. Through Sunday School, children are learning the Christian spiritual songs, and through colorful story books they learn about the miracles of Jesus Christ. We need new Sunday School books for the children for the new year. Many new children are coming in Sunday School. We need your generous support for Sunday School Children. Please continue to pray for Sunday school classes.

Prison Ministry

In the month of January 2007, Pastor Vaster Saajan and Pastor Asif Qamar visited weekly in the central jail of Faisalabad and pray with prisoners. Prisoners are taking part in prayer meetings. There are three prisoners who are sentenced in blasphemy cases. Our pastors are visiting that jail, and praying with the prisoners and make their faith stronger in the Lord Jesus Christ. In that jail there are 80 Christian prisoners in different cases. They visited the families of those prisoners and prayed with them. Please pray for those innocent prisoners and their families.

Drama Ministry

In the month of January 2007 our Drama ministry performed drama on “Sending out the Twelve” arranged in the Goghuwal for the community. In this way people are learning the word of God very easily because when they watch the young youth is performing the truth and we must change our lives for Lord Jesus Christ. In this way children understand the central idea of the massage easily. Youth participated with great enthusiasm in this event. This drama has great impact on the children and adult of the community. Please pray for the drama ministry.

Women's Ministry

Jesus Christ is blessing the Women's Ministry because it is growing day by day. The Women's Ministry was greatly blessed in the month of January 2007. In the month of December 2006, Evangelist sister Rafia and her co-worker spread the Word of God to young girls and women. Many new girls and women entered into the woman ministry. Many women and young girls changed their lives after listening to the Word of God and now they are the members of the Women Ministry and preaching the word of God to women and girls. We need Urdu religious literature for the Women's Ministry because when our Sisters are going for preaching in new community at that time they need religious literature for distribution. Please pray for the women ministry that God will use our sisters for His Glory.

United Primary School

After Christmas holidays, United Primary School was running smoothly throughout the month of January 2007. We are planning to give New Testament to the all the school children. We arrange a special period of Christians study in every class on daily basis for children spiritual growth. Now children are learning the word of God from their childhood. In 2007 we are praying for our own school building, and in this way we can increase the number of the children. Many people are visiting our school, but due to shortage of space we are not admitting their children in the school. Please continue to pray for a separate school building.

Sewing Center

In the month of January 2007, the Sewing Centre in Railway Colony, Faisalabad is going very well. We want to increase the number of machines in the Sewing Center because more women and girls are coming, and we don’t have a large number of machines. We are praying to Lord Jesus Christ for more sewing machines. Most important and the greatest gift these women receive is the Good News of Lord Jesus Christ. Before each tailoring session starts there is a short devotion time in which they hear the Word of God, who loves and cares for them unconditionally. Please pray for our sisters who are learning the sewing. In the future we want to start the sewing centers in different areas where we are preaching Please pray for this mission of the United Ministries Pakistan.

FREE DISPENSARY

In the month of January 2007 Free Dispensary in Railway Colony Faisalabad was running smoothly by the Grace of Lord Jesus Christ. We are giving medicine to the needy free of cost. Brother Riaz Masih is in charge of the Dispensary, and first he is praying with patients and then he is giving medicine. Every patient is asking our brother to please pray for them before giving them medicine. People are healing very quickly because they are asking Jesus to heal them through prayer. Please pray for this mission of the United Ministries Pakistan.
