Greetings to you in Jesus' holy name and thank you for your fervent prayers! Praise the Lord: The Lord is blessing us abundantly and we are happy to share about our ministry and work that is going on here by His grace. May the Lord bless you all throughout this month. Thank you for your prayers which you are doing for United Ministries Pakistan. We once again thank and praise our Lord and Saviour for giving us an opportunity to share about our ministry work for the month of February 2007. We hope and pray that the Lord is using you all for His kingdom as He is doing here in Faisalabad, Pakistan. I am going to share how the Lord is using us here and also want to thank you all for your prayer.

Sunday Services

In the month of February 2007 Sunday Services in seven areas of United Ministries Pakistan were held regularly. In our Sunday services the size of the congregations increased in every meeting, so we are praying for a separate church building for each area. Please continue to pray for us and for our regular prayer meetings. The believers of the congregation are involved in personal soul winning by meeting people individually and sharing the gospel. Please continue to pray for us and for our regular prayer meetings.

Outreach Gospel Program

Outreach Gospel program was greatly blessedin the month of February 2007. We are winning many souls for Lord Jesus Christ in the Outreach Gospel Program. Outreach prayer meetings have been blessed in Goal Patha, Mubarikabad Colony, Chak # 6 RB, Goghuwal, Manawala, Nishatabad, Samanabad, Saeedabad, Ghulam Muhammadabad, Gojra, Dasua, Korian, Chak # 26, Shorkoat, Mariamabad, Chinioat, Yousafabad, Warbartan, and Chaman Zaar Colony. Please continue to pray for us and for our Outreach Gospel Program. We are praying for Urdu Bibles and we are praying for Ministry transport as we have no ministry conveyance and have to travel on public transportation. By having ministry transportation we can increase outreach Gospel program.

Biblical Teaching for Youth

In the month of February 2007 Bible teaching classes were conducted regularly. Four pastors, namely Pastor Vaster Saajan (Topic: Lord’s Prayer, Matthew 6:5-15), Pastor Saleem Javaid (Topic: Worry, Luke 12:22-24), Pastor Aslam Pervaiz (Topic: Give to Caesar, Mark 12:13-17), and Pastor Yaqoob Anjam (Topic: Beatitudes, Matthew 5:1-12) Youth are learning the word of God with great spirit. We are planning for youth seminars for the year 2007 where youth can learn more, and learn how to preach in different circumstances. We want to start more Biblical teaching programs in different areas for youth. Please pray for this program.

Sunday School

Praise the Lord for the month of February 2007. Through Sunday School, United Ministries Pakistan is developing every part of a child – spirit, soul, and body – through worship, teaching, prayer, fellowship and evangelism. The Sunday School system is a great source of Biblical knowledge for the children. Through Sunday School children, are learning the Christian spiritual songs, and through colorful story books they learn about the miracles of Jesus Christ. This program is running in four areas of Faisalabad, namely Railway Colony, 213-Maryamabad, Waheed Park and Warispura, Faisalabad. In the month of February 2007, the Sunday School classes were given regularly in these areas and children are increasing in number. Easter is coming very soon, and we want to give them gifts to Sunday school students. We want to do a lot for these children because majority of them belong to poor families. We need your generous support for Sunday School children for the Easter programs. Please continue to pray for Sunday school classes.

Prison Ministry

In the month of February 2007, Pastor Rashid Emmanuel visited in the central jail Faisalabad and prayed with the prisoners. Prisoners are taking part in prayer meetings. As Easter is coming very soon, we want to give new clothes and other necessary items to prisoners. In that jail there are 80 Christian prisoners in different cases. We need your generous support for this program for prisoners. They visited the families of those prisoners and prayed with them. Please pray for those innocent prisoners and their families.

Drama Ministry

In the month of February 2007, our Drama ministry performed drama on “Man Born Blind” arranged in the Shorkoat for the community. In this way people are learning the word of God very easily because when they watch the young people are performing the truth that we must change our lives for Lord Jesus Christ. In this way children understand the central idea of the message easily. The youth participated with great enthusiasm in this event. This drama has great impact on the children and adults of the community. Please pray for the drama ministry.

Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry was greatly blessed in the month of February 2007. Jesus Christ is blessing the Women's Ministry because it is growing day by day. In the month of February 2007 Evangelist sister Rafia and her co-worker spread the Word of God to young girls and women. Many new girls and women entered the the Women's Ministry. Many women and young girls changed their lives after listening to the word of God, and now they are the members of the ministry and preaching the word of God to women and girls. We need Urdu religious literature for the Women's Ministry because when our Sisters are going for preaching in new community at that time they need religious literature for distribution. Please pray for the Women's Ministry that God may use our sisters for His Glory.

United Primary School

Praise the Lord; in the month of February 2007 we have distributed about 100 New Testaments to the school children and other children by the Grace of Lord Jesus Christ. All children are very happy to have their own New Testament Now they are reading the Word of God on a daily basis, and they are taking one period of Bible Study daily. We arranged a special period of Christians study in every class on a daily basis for the children's spiritual growth. Now children are learning the word of God from their childhood. In 2007 we are praying for our own school and in this way we can increase the number of children. We are planning to give gifts to the school children on Easter. Please continue to pray for separate school and Easter financial need for the children.

Sewing Center

In the month of February 2007, the Sewing Centre in Railway Colony, Faisalabad was going very well. We want to increase the number of machines in the Sewing Center because more women and girls are coming, and we don’t have a large number of machines. We are praying to Lord Jesus Christ for more sewing machines. Most important, the greatest gift these women receive is the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. Before each sewing session starts there is a short devotion time in which they hear the Word of God, who loves and cares for them unconditionally. Please pray for our sisters who are learning sewing. In future we want to start the sewing centers in different areas where we are preaching Please pray for this mission of the United Ministries Pakistan.

FREE DISPENSARY

In the month of February 2007, the Free Dispensary in Railway Colony, Faisalabad, was running smoothly by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are giving medicine to the needy free of cost. Brother Riaz Masih is the one in charge of the Dispensary, and first he is praying with patients, and then he is giving them medicine. Every patient is asking our brother, "Please pray for us before giving us medicine." People are healing very quickly because they are asking Jesus heal them through prayer. Please pray for this mission of the United Ministries Pakistan.

One Day Healing Convention in Shorkoat on 10 March 2007 United Ministries Pakistan is arranging a one day Healing Convention in Shorkoat on 10 March 2007. Many sick, demon-possessed, blind, and paralyzed people will be coming over there, and Jesus will heal them. Please pray for the success of Shorkoat Convention.

Two day Healing Convention in Fairoz Watoon United Ministries Pakistan is arranging a two-day Healing Convention in Fairoz Watoon on 22 and 23 March 2007. Many sick, demon-possessed, blind, and paralyzed people will be coming over there, and Jesus will heal them. Please pray for the success of Fairoz Watoon Convention.
