Prayer Requests

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings in His Holy Name from United Ministries Pakistan. The Lord is blessing us abundantly. We are happy to share about our ministry and work that is going on here by His grace. May the Lord bless you all.  1^st July through 31^st July 2006 we had a busy schedule.  Weekly Prayers meetings in different areas as given below.

Sunday Services

Sunday cottage Prayer meetings in seven areas of District Faisalabad were held regularly in the month of July 2006.  All these meetings were greatly blessed by the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.  The size of the congregation increased in every meeting.  These meetings were arranged in the houses of Local pastors.  We prayed for the sick, depressed, poor and disabled people, and many were healed by the Grace of God.  Please continue to pray for us and for our regular prayer meetings.

Outreach Gospel Program

The Outreach Gospel program is full of blessings.  In the month of July 2006 our pastors visited many new areas like Tamboo Colony, Shorkoat, Saeedabad, Chinioat, Ghulam Muhammadabad, Gojra, Dasua.  Our pastors faced some problems as they were new for the people of those areas.  But the God is Great who softened the hearts of those people so the seed of Word could get to the roots in their hearts.  We plan to arrange prayer meetings on the regular basis in those areas.  We have run short of Bibles and are praying for the Urdu Bible so we can deliver Bibles in those areas to the new believers. Please continue to pray for us and for our Outreach Gospel Program.

Biblical Teaching for Youth

In the month of July 2006 Bible teaching classes were conducted by four Pastors, namely Pastor Rashid Emmanuel (Topic: Bread of Life, John 6:25-59), Pastor Fazal Deen (Topic: Born Again, John 3:1-21), Pastor Saleem Javaid (Topic: Discipleship, Luke 14:25-35) and Pastor Shoukat Fazal (Topic: The way and the truth and the life, John 14:5-14). We want to start more Biblical teaching program in different areas for youth.  Please pray for this program.

Sunday School

Sunday school system is a great source of Biblical knowledge for the children.  Through Sunday School children are learning the Christian spiritual songs, and through colorful story books they learn about the miracles of Jesus Christ.  This program was started in four areas of Faisalabad, namely Railway Colony, 213-Maryamabad, Waheed Park, and Warispura Faisalabad. In the month of July the Sunday School classes were given regularly in these areas and the number of children is increasing. We have only a few books for the Sunday School, and the children share these books with each other. Pray for these children, we want to do a lot for these children because the majority of them belongs to poor families.

Prison Ministry

United Ministries Pakistan Pastor Naeem Akhtar visited to Faisalabad District Jail.  In that jail there are five prisoners who are sentenced in blasphemy cases.  Our pastor is visiting that jail to pray with the prisoners and make their faith more stronger in the Lord Jesus Christ.  He also visited the families of those prisoners and prayed with them.  United Ministries Pakistan is helping those families because their wage earners are in the Jail in false blasphemy charges.  Please pray for those innocent prisoners and their families.

Drama Ministry

In the month of July 2006 our Drama ministry acted a drama in the local hall of Gokhuwal on the topic of minority rights.

Special programs in the Month of August 2006

In the Month of August 2006 two very special events are coming as under;

1. Second one day yearly Evangelistic Healing Convention on 12^th August 2006.

2. Pakistan Independence Day Pray Meeting on 14^th August 2006.

Second One Day Yearly Evangelistic Healing Convention

Second one day yearly Evangelistic Healing Convention is going to be held in Chak # 121 JB Gokhuwal Layalpur # 1 Faisalabad.  This convention is especially for the sick, blind, and disabled; to heal the people who are suffering with evil sprits, and for poor and unemployed people.  The speaker will be Pastor Fazal Deen.

Pakistan Independence Day Pray Meetings

14^th August is the day of Independence of Pakistan.  Every year members of United Ministries Pakistan and their families gather and pray for the peace and progress of Pakistan.  We pray also for the minorities of Pakistan.    

PRAYER REQUESTS:

1. Please pray for Brother Joel Nakash so that God may heal him from illness.
2. Please pray for Sister Syrryia Griffin; she is patient of cardiac disease. 
3. Please pray for Brother Saleem Sadiq; he is jobless.
4. Please pray for Brother Shahbaz, because he has no child.
5. Please pray for Brother Shamaun; he is suffering with evil spirits.
6. Please pray for Sister Saima; she is unmarried and looking for a life partner.
7. Please pray for Brother Sharafat and Sister Zahida Perveen; they are without child.
8. Please pray for Brother Jamil Sandhu; he is jobless.
9. Please pray for Sister Durdana; she is looking for a life partner.
10. Please pray for Brother Nadeem; he has a serious illness.
11. Please pray for Brother Nazir; he is working in Khanewal, and he wants to work in his native city Faisalabad because his whole family is living in Faisalabad, so pray for his transfer.
12. Please pray for Sister Aneela; she is suffering with Arthritis Disease.
13. Please pray for Brother Mushtaq; he is jobless.
14. Please pray for Sister Shahnaz, so God may provide her suitable life partner.
15. Please pray for Sister Iqbal Bibi; she has diabetes.
16. Please pray for Brother Amjad Barke;t he has Arthritis problem.
17. Please pray for Sister Nabeela; she is suffering with evil spirits.
18. Please pray for Sister Najma; she is suffering with evil spirits.
19. Please pray for Brother Salman; he is suffering with acute allergic disease.
20. Please pray for Brother Arshad; he is suffering with diabetes.
21. Please pray for the Father of brother Rehan; he is suffering with very serious illness.
22. Please pray for Brother Shoukat; he is sick.
23. Please pray for Brother Javaid and Sister Abida; they are suffering with Hepatitis-C
24. Please pray for Brother Yousaf; he is suffering with demons.
25. Please pray for Brother Aamir, that Jesus may change his life and use him for His Grace.
26. Please pray for Brother Asif Yousaf; he is suffering Hepatitis-C.
27. Please pray for Brother Yaqoob; he is suffering with paralysis.
28. Please pray for Sister Mariam; she is ill.
29. Please pray for all the young boys of Gokhuwal, that God mayuse them for his Grace.
30. Please pray for earthquake disaster areas where the people are homeless and suffering from another natural calamity, monsoon rains.
31. Please pray for the team of United Ministries Pakistan and congregation.
32. Please pray for the Ministry transport.
33.  Pray for Pakistan and Pakistani Christians.
