Dear Praying Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Greetings to you and thank you for your fervent prayers!
We once again thank and praise our Lord and Saviour for giving us an opportunity to share about our ministry work for the month of August 2006. We hope and pray that the Lord is using you all for His kingdom as He is doing here in Faisalabad, Pakistan. I am going to share how the Lord is using us here and also want to thank you all for your prayer.
Sunday cottage prayer meetings in seven areas of District Faisalabad were held regularly in the month of August 2006. All these meetings were filled with blessings by the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. In our Sunday services the size of the congregation increased in every meeting, so we are praying for a separate church building for each area. We prayed for the sick, depressed, poor and disabled peoples, and many were healed by the Grace of God. Please continue to pray for us and for our regular prayer meetings.
Outreach Gospel program is very blessed in the month of August 2006. Outreach prayer meetings have been blessed in Chak # 6 RB, Tamboo Colony, Shorkoat, Saeedabad, Chinioat, Ghulam Muhammadabad, Gojra, Dasua. Our congregation is increasing day by day in Outreach areas. We planned to arrange prayer meetings on a regular basis in those areas. We have run short of Bibles and are praying for the Urdu Bible so we can deliver Bibles in those areas to the new believers. Please continue to pray for us and for our Outreach Gospel Program. We are praying for Ministry transport as we have no ministry conveyance and have to travel on public transport. By having ministry transport we can increase outreach Gospel program.
In the month of August 2006 Bible teaching classes were conducted. Four Pastors, namely Pastor Vaster Saajan (Topic: Golden Rule, Luke 6:31), Pastor Yaqoob Sardar (Topic: Good Shepherd, John 10:1-18), Pastor Yousaf Azad (Topic: Sending out the Twelve, Mathew 10) and Pastor Amjad Aziz (Topic: Living Water, John 4:1-26). Youth are learning with a great spirit. We want to start more Biblical teaching program in different areas for youth. Please pray for this program.
The Sunday School system is a great source of Biblical knowledge for the children. Through Sunday School children are learning the Christian spiritual songs and through colorful story books they learn about the miracles of Jesus Christ. This program was started in four areas of Faisalabad, namely Railway Colony, 213-Maryamabad, Waheed Park, and Warispura, Faisalabad. In the month of August 2006, the Sunday School classes were given regularly in these areas and the number of children is increasing. Pray for these children, we want to do a lot for these children because the majority of them belong to poor families.
In the month of August 2006 Pastor Naeem Akhtar visited every week in District Jail, and prayed with the Christian prisoners. Many Muslim prisoners also gathered in prayers and they heard the word of God. In that jail there are 80 Christian prisoners in different kids of cases. There are five prisoners who are sentenced in blasphemy cases. Our pastor is visiting that jail and praying with the prisoners to make their faith stronger in the Lord Jesus Christ. He visited the families of those prisoners and prayed with them. United Ministries Pakistan is helping those families because their earning persons are in the jail in false blasphemy cases. Please pray for those innocent prisoners and their families.
In the month of August 2006 our Drama ministry performed in the drama on “The Parable of Sower”, arranged in the local hall of Warispua for the community. The youth participated with great enthusiasm in this event. This drama had great impact on the children and adult of the community.
Second One Day Yearly Evangelistic Healing Convention
Second one day yearly Evangelistic Healing Convention was held in Chak # 121 JB Gokhuwal Layalpur # 1 Faisalabad. This convention was especially for the sick, blind, and disabled; to heal the people who are suffering with evil sprits; and fpr poor and unemployed people. God did miracles in this convention and healed them of their sickness and a lot of souls were won for the kingdom of Lord Jesus Christ. Many people were healed from their acute diseases and became living witnesses of the living God.
Pakistan Independence Day Pray Meeting
14th August is the day of Independence of Pakistan. Every year members of United Ministries Pakistan and their families gather and pray for the peace and progress of Pakistan. We pray also for the minorities of Pakistan.

Please pray for Sister Nazia; she is suffering from Asthma.
Prayer for Childless Parents
Prayer for Demon Possessed
Please pray for Brother Saleem; he is suffering with demons.
Prayer for Unemployed
Please pray for Brother Aamir; he is jobless.
Prayer for Life Partner
Please pray for Brother Nathniel; may God provide him suitable life partner.
Misc. Prayers
Please pray for earthquake disaster areas where the people are homeless and suffering from another natural calamity, monsoon rains.
