The Lord is blessing us abundantly and we are happy to share about our ministry and work that is going on here by His grace. May the Lord bless you all throughout this month. Thank you for your prayers that you are making for United Ministries Pakistan. We once again thank and praise our Lord and Saviour for giving us an opportunity to share about our ministry work for the month of October 2006. We hope and pray that the Lord is using you all for His kingdom as He is doing here in Faisalabad, Pakistan. I am going to share how the Lord is using us here and also want to thank you all for your prayer.

Sunday Services

All our Sunday Prayer meetings are running smoothly and our Pastors are holding Sunday Services by the Grace of Lord Jesus Christ. The believers of the congregation are involved in personal soul winning by meeting people individually and sharing the gospel. Sunday Prayer meetings in seven areas of District Faisalabad were held regularly in the month of October 2006. In our Sunday services the size the of congregation increased in every meeting, so we are praying for a separate church building for each area. Please continue to pray for us and for our regular prayer meetings.

Outreach Gospel Program

The Outreach Gospel program was richly blessed in the month of October 2006. Outreach prayer meetings have been blessed in Korian,

Chak # 26, Shorkoat, Mariamabad, Chinioat, Goal Patha, Mubarikabad Colony, Chak # 6 RB, Goghuwal, Manawala, Nishatabad, Samanabad, Saeedabad, Ghulam Muhammadabad, Gojra, Dasua. Our congregation is increasing day by day in Outreach areas. We are arranging regular prayer meetings in those areas. Please continue to pray for us and for our Outreach Gospel Program. United Ministries Pakistan Pastors and Evangelists have to travel great distance over rough roads in order to reach villages and far areas for preaching the word of God which are inaccessible by public or private transport. We are praying for Ministry transport as we have no ministry conveyance and have to travel on public transport. By having ministry transport we can increase the Outreach Gospel program.

Biblical Teaching for Youth

In the month of October 2006 Bible teaching classes were conducted by four Pastors, namely Pastor Yaqoob Sardar (Topic: Faithful and wise servant, Matthew 24:45-51), Pastor Vaster Saajan (Topic: Rich Fool, Luke 12:16-21), Pastor Amjad Aziz (Topic: Sheep and goats, Matthew 25:31-46) and Pastor Yousaf Azad (Topic Pharisee and the publican Luke 18:2-8). Youth are learning the word of God with great enthusiasm We want to start more Biblical teaching program in different areas for youth. Please pray for this program.

Sunday School

Through Sunday School United Ministries Pakistan is developing every part of a child – spirit, soul, and body – through worship, teaching,

prayer, fellowship and evangelism. The Sunday School system is a great source of Biblical knowledge for the children. Through Sunday School children are learning the Christian spiritual songs, and through colorful story books they learn about the miracles of Jesus Christ. This program is running in four areas of Faisalabad, namely Railway Colony, 213-Maryamabad, Waheed Park, and Warispura Faisalabad. In the month of October 2006 the Sunday School classes were given regularly in these areas, and the number of children is increasing. Christmas is coming very soon and we want to give new cloths and shoes and stationery to the Sunday school students. We want to do a lot for these children because the majority of them belongs to poor families.

Prison Ministry

Praise the God, Our living God is hearing our prayers. I want to share with my all prayer partner a real incident that occurred with a Christian family in the month of October 2006. They are living in Chak Samundari near Faisalabad. Some Muslims accues them of using some wrong words about Islam and Muhammad. The police locked them in the prison caused of blasphemy for one week and after a complete investigation they found innocent. All Christians in Pakistan were very upset and disappointed but they were regularly praying to Lord Jesus Christ for their release from prison. Now they have returned back from prison and are giving the testimony of Lord Jesus Christ that Jesus saved their lives. A Christian man (Bashir Masih) who was sentenced to seven years in prison by a lower court in February 2005 for profaning the Quran, the Muslim holy book, was found dead in a prison cell in the Central Jail in Bahawlnagar, Pakistan in the month of October 2006. Please pray for his family that the Lord may save them from every kind of danger. In the month of October 2006 Pastor Naeem Akhtar, Pastor Asif Qamar visited in District Jail Faisalabad every week and prayed with the Christian prisoners. In that jail there are 80 Christian prisoners in different kinds of cases. There are five prisoners who are sentenced in blasphemy cases. Our pastors are visiting that jail and praying with the prisoners to make their faith stronger in the Lord Jesus Christ. He visited the families of those prisoners and prayed with them. United Ministries Pakistan is helping those families because their wage earners are in the Jail in false blasphemy cases. Please pray and send help for those innocent prisoners and their families and remember them for Christmas also.

Drama Ministry

In the month of October 2006 our Drama ministry performed in the drama on “The Rich Man and Lazarus” arranged in the Dasuha for the community. In this way people are learning the word of God very easily because when they watch the young youth are performing the truth that we must change our lives for Lord Jesus Christ. In this way children understand the central idea of the massage easily. Youth participated with great enthusiasm in this event. This drama has great impact on the children and adult of the community. We are planning for

Christmas programs. We want to do some special drama programs for Christmas in different areas of United Ministries Pakistan where the

congregation of United Ministries Pakistan is in large numbers. Please pray for drama ministry programs and all members of drama ministry.

Women's Ministry

Women Ministry was greatly blessed in the month of October 2006. Evangelist sister Rafia and her co-worker are spreading the Word of God to young girls and women. Jesus Christ is bringing blessing to the women's ministry because it is growing day by day. Many women and young girls changed their lives after listening to the word of God, and now they are the members of the women 'sministry and preaching the word of God to other women and girls. Please pray for the women's ministry that God may use our sisters for His Glory.

United Primary School

United Primary School is running smoothly throughout the month of October 2006. In United Primary School 85 boys and girls are getting

an education. More people want their children to get admission in the United Primary School because we are giving them a free education, but due to lack of space and due to lack of finance we are not admitting new children in the school. They are being educated at school and we believe that the Christian values taught bring stability to their lives and the contact can also lead their parents into the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. We do need your support for Christmas because we want to give them new books, note books, stationeries,

uniform, and shoes on Christmas. We want to extend the school and more children want to get education over their please pray for the school and school children, and support the school for expansion.

Sewing Center

The Sewing Centre in Railway Colony Faisalabad is going very well. We want to increase the number of machines in the Sewing Center because more women and girls are coming, and we don’t have a large number of machines. We are praying to the Lord Jesus Christ for more sewing machines. Most important, the greatest gift these women receive is the good news of Lord Jesus Christ. Before each sewing session starts there is a short devotion time in which they hear the Word of God who loves and cares for them unconditionally. Please pray for our sisters who are learning the sewng. In future we want to start the sewing centers in different areas where we are preaching. Please pray for this mission of the United Ministries Pakistan.

FREE DISPENSARY

The Free Dispensary in Railway Colony Faisalabad is running smoothly by the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are giving medicine to the needy free of cost. Brother Riaz Masih is the one in charge of the Dispensary and first he is doing prayer on patients and then he is giving

medicine. In future we plan to start dispensaries in different rural areas of Pakistan. Please pray for this mission of the United

Ministries Pakistan.

Request for Christmas donation for Sunday School and School Children

Christmas is fast approaching, it is the time to show love to others, especially our kids. We are planning to feed 400 kids this Christmas

and present all with Christmas gift, to be part of it. A Christmas gift for a child will do a lot here, so we are also looking for funds to buy

Christmas gifts for them, too. Cold is back again in Pakistan, remember those that are on the street; a warm piece of clothing as a Christmas gift will do a great work in the life of many that have no hope, along with a place lay there heads.
