We once again thank and praise our Lord and Saviour for giving us an opportunity to share about United Ministries Pakistan after a one month interval. We hope and pray that the Lord is using you all for the lifting up of His kingdom as He is doing here in Faisalabad, Pakistan. I am going to share how the Lord is using us here and also want to thank you all for your prayer. We once again thank and praise our Lord and Saviour for giving us an opportunity to share about our ministry work for the month of November 2006.

Sunday Services

By the Grace of Lord Jesus Christ all our Sunday Prayer meetings are running smoothly. Christmas is not that far away and special prayer programs are scheduled for whole the month of December. Sunday Prayer meetings in seven areas of District Faisalabad were held regularly in the month of November 2006. Pray that the Lord will help the congregation as they are reaching nearby areas with the message of Love and Truth through their words and deeds. In our Sunday services the size of congregations is increasing in prayer meeting so we are praying for separate church building for each area. Please continue to pray for us and for our regular prayer meetings.

Outreach Gospel Program

Outreach Gospel program is greatly blessed in the month of November 2006. Outreach prayer meetings have been greatly blessed in Railway Quarter, Tamboo Colony, Goghuwal, Akbarabad, Rabuwa, Nasrat Colony, Chak # 213, Rasool Park, Dasua, Gojra, Nishatabad, Chamanzar Colony, Waheed Park, Ghulam Muhammadabad, Shorkoat, Peer Kalian Colony, Malkhanwala and Fairoz Watooan. Our congregation is increasing day by day in Outreach areas. We are arranging regular prayer meetings in those areas. Please continue to pray for us and for our Outreach Gospel Program. We need 300 Urdu Bibles for Outreach Gospel program. We are praying for Urdu Bibles and we are praying for Ministry transport as we have no ministry conveyance and have to travel on public transport. By having ministry transport we can increase outreach Gospel program.

Biblical Teaching for Youth

In the month of November 2006 Bible teaching classes were conducted. Four Pastors namely Pastor Pervaiz Masih (Topic: Canceled Debts, Luke 7:41-43), Pastor Shahzad Sharif (Topic: Cost of Discipleship, Luke 14:28-33), Pastor Saleem Masih (Topic: Growing Seed, Mark 4:26-29) and Pastor Javaid Hadayat (Topic: Leaven, Matthew 13:33). Youth are learning the word of God with Great Spirit. We want to start more Biblical teaching program in different areas for youth. Please pray for this program.

Sunday School

This program is running in four areas of Faisalabad, namely Railway Colony, 213-Maryamabad, Waheed Park and Warispura Faisalabad.. In the month of November 2006 the Sunday School classes were given regularly in these areas and the number of children is increasing. Through Sunday School children are learning the Christian spiritual songs and through colorful story books they learn about the miracles of Jesus Christ. Children are very excited for Christmas preparation and they are learning special songs for Christmas. Special Biblical teaching is giving to them related to miraculous birth of Jesus Christ. Children are very much interested for Christmas preparation. Christmas is coming very soon and we want to give new cloths and shoes and stationery to the Sunday school students. We want to do a lot for these children because majority of these children belongs to poor families. We need your generous support for Sunday School Children. Please pray for the needs of Sunday School children.

Prison Ministry

In the month of November 2006 Pastor Naeem Akhtar and Pastor Asif Qamar visited every week in District Jail Faisalabad and prayed with the Christian prisoners. On the 17th November we arranged a special full-night prayer meeting for prisoners with Prisoners for Christ Outreach Ministries. All pastor and elders of United Ministries Pakistan prayed the whole night for Pakistani prisoners and international prisoners. Praise the Lord for one prisoner (Ranjah Masih) who was in the prison due to a blasphemy case for the last eight years. The Lord set him free after 17th November prayer meetings. The Lord is hearing our prayers and giving us answers. In that jail there are more then 80 Christian prisoners in different cases. There are four prisoners who are sentenced in blasphemy cases. Our pastor is visiting that jail and praying with the prisoners and helping make their faith stronger in the Lord Jesus Christ. He visited the families of those prisoners and prayed with them. United Ministries Pakistan is helping those families because their wage earners are in the Jail in false blasphemy cases. Pray for the needs of prisoner’s families; we want to give special gifts to the children of prisoners and want to do some financial support for Christmas. Please pray for those innocent prisoners and their families.

Drama Ministry

In the month of November 2006 our Drama ministry was preparing some drama programs for Christmas. They want to perform these programs in different areas of Faisalabad. They are preparing drama programs related to the Birth of Jesus Christ. In this way children understand the central idea of the message easily. Youth participated with great enthusiasm in this event. This drama has a great impact on the children and adults of the community. Please pray for the whole preparation of drama ministry.

Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry was greatly blessed in the month of November 2006. Evangelist sister Rafia and her co-worker are spreading the Word of God to young girls and women. In the month of November 2006 Sister Rafia and her co-worker gave special messages to girls and women related to the Birth of Jesus Christ. When they are preaching in the homes and many children are also learning the Word of God through them. Jesus Christ is granting blessing to the women's ministry because it is growing day by day. Many women and young girls had their lives changed after listening to the word of God, and now they are the members of the women ministry's and sharing the word of God with other women and girls. Please pray for the women's ministry that God may use our sisters for His Glory.

United Primary School

United Primary School was running smoothly throughout the month of November 2006. In United Primary School 85 boys and girls are getting an education. We need your support for Christmas gifts for school children. We want to give them new books, note books, warm uniform and shoes on Christmas. We want to expand the school and more children want to get education over there. Please pray for the school and school children and support the school for expansion.

Sewing Center

In the month of November 2006 the Sewing Centre in Railway Colony Faisalabad was going very well. We want to increase the number of Machines in the Sewing Center because more women and girls are coming and we don’t have a large number of machines. We are praying to the Lord Jesus Christ for more sewing machines. Most important, the greatest gift these women receive is the good news of Lord Jesus Christ. Before each tailoring session starts there is a short devotion time in which they hear the Word of God, who loves and cares for them unconditionally. Please pray for our sisters who are learning the tailoring. In future we want to start the sewing centers in different areas where we are preaching. Please pray for this mission of the United Ministries Pakistan.

FREE DISPENSARY

In the month of November 2006 the Free Dispensary in Railway Colony Faisalabad was running smoothly by the Grace of Lord Jesus Christ. We are giving medicine to the needy free of charge. Brother Riaz Masih is the one in charge of the Dispensary. First he praying for the patients and then he is giving them medicine. In future we plan to start dispensaries in different rural areas of Pakistan. Please pray for this mission of the United Ministries Pakistan.

Christmas Donations

Please send your donations for Christmas before 20 December 2006 for Sunday School Children and School Children. Christmas is a very special time of year filled with laughter, joy and anticipation. Friends and family gather from near and far to share the warmth of the season. We are planning to feed 400 kids this Christmas and present all with a Christmas gift, to be part of it A Christmas gift for a child will do a lot here, so we're looking for funds to buy Christmas gifts for them, too. Winter is back again in Pakistan; remember those that are on the street. A warm cloth as a Christmas gift will do a great work in the life of many that have no hope or a place lay their head.
