Free Web Pages!

From Jesus Is the Bridge Ministries

We are pleased to offer free space on our site for web pages for individuals, churches, and ministries.  There are a limited number of free sites available, and when that limit is reached, notice will be given on this page.  Before giving details on what this includes, we ask that you please read the "Requirements and Conditions" section that follows.

If you are interested in setting up your own free webpage with us, or wish to comment or request assistance on an existing page, please complete our FEEDBACK form, and select "Free Web Pages" in the dropdown box.  You must include an email address for a response.

What We Provide

Types of Web Pages

Requirements and Conditions

  • The webpage, or "site" may not include any content of an obscene or objectionable content.  "Obscene" includes any content of a sexually explicit nature, as judged by the webmaster.  "Objectionable" includes, but is not limited to, any content that conflicts with biblical standards of conduct and morality, again in the judgment of the webmaster.  We will also not permit links to such sites, or to webrings that include such sites.
  • While the site need not contain explicitly Christian content, the administrator of the site must adhere to the Statement of Belief as set out in the Ministry Statement on the Ministry page.  The site must contain, either on the homepage or on a Links page, the following statement, prominently displayed: This site is a free service of Jesus Is The Bridge Ministries.  As such, the site subscribes to the Statement of Belief set forth in the Jesus Is the Bridge Ministry page.  Any content of a religious nature must conform to this statement, in the judgment of the webmaster.
  • We will not accept either sites or content that are either designed to sell items, or which link to other sites that sell items.  Thus, merchant or affiliate merchant sites of any sort are excluded.  We will also not permit advertising for merchant or affiliate merchant sites in any form, including banner ads.
  • No copyrighted material may be included unless documentation is submitted that permission for inclusion is obtained.  If content is submitted and represented as not being copyrighted, and such allegation is later proven to be false, the site will be removed unless a showing can be made that such inclusion was inadvertent or innocent.  Further, if content is included which is plagiarized or otherwise falsely attributed, and that is later established,  the site will be removed without warning.
  • Once a site is accepted for inclusion, it will be monitored for the above content requirements.  If the requirements are violated, the administrator of the site will first be sent a warning to the email address used by the webmaster.  If no action is taken within the specified time, the site will be removed without further notice.  If the webmaster judges the material involved to be grossly objectionable, the site will be removed immediately, with notice only of the removal and the reasons for removal.
  • If a site exceeds the allotted space on the server, the webmaster will send a warning that the limit has been exceeded, and that material needs to be removed to insure continued placement.  If no response is received to this warning within the time specified, the site will be removed without further notice.
  • When a free webpage is approved, a "holder" page will be added to the Jesus Is The Bridge website, with the assigned URL.  If no content is added to the site within 60 days of approval, a warning will be sent.  If no extension is requested in response, the site will be removed, and notice given by email.
  • Sites will be monitored at six month intervals.  Though there is no requirement that new content be added once the initial content is added to the site, we wish to ensure that the individual or organization involved is still interested in maintaining the site.  Should no response be received, a follow-up message will be sent.  If no response is received to the follow-up, the site will be removed.
  • The site must include a link to the Jesus Is the Bridge home page, either prominently displayed on the site's home page, or as the first link on a Links page.  A reciprocal link will be placed on the Jesus Is The Bridge Links page.  Failure to add this link, or removal of the link once added, will constitute grounds for removal of the site after two email warnings to correct the problem.

Recommended Types of Web Pages

  • Church webpage.  This usually includes general information on the church (location, staff, history), a statement of belief, a description of available ministries, listing of service times, contact information, and often a separate page devoted to missionary support.  This can be an invaluable tool for individuals or families considering a prospective church.  If, for example, a family has small children, the availability of a nursery is of vital importance.  For senior citizens, the fact that the church has a ministry for their age group is important.  The site may also include separate pages for a church school, or special media such as audio versions of sermons.
  • Ministry Webpage.  Such a site may include a description of the purpose and goals of the ministry, a statement of belief, testimonies, a description of past, present, and future projects, contact information, and a schedule of appearances.  It should also include a listing of the owner(s) of the ministry, and any controlling board members.
  • Personal Webpage.  This might be an individual ministry, like Jesus Is The Bridge, or simply a vehicle for highlighting personal testimony, interests, hobbies, writings, or photos
  • Family Webpage.  Similar to a personal webpage, but most likely with a heavy emphasis on photos.  There could be a genealogy page, and pages for individual members of the family to shine in their own areas of interest.  Other possible projects could include a family history or a family cookbook.

Whatever kind of page you choose, and there may be others not listed here, such as subject-driven pages, it can be an exciting and fulfilling way of reaching out to the world.

God bless you in whatever you do!
