Becker Bible Studies

Spotlights of Fundamental Ministries

Becker Bible Studies began over twenty years ago when two women (Kathy L. McFarland and Joanne Holstein) in our congregation prepared Bible Studies for fellow Christians who were suffering through great hardships and tribulations and unable to maintain their faith and hope in Christ.  Soon, word of mouth by the spiritually restored brought more suffering Christian brothers and sisters our way.  Our small church knew with certainty that the Holy Spirit had much greater plans, and soon we were all committed and moving with Him to provide Guided Bible Studies for Hungry Christians.

In the last five years, we have actively promoted our Bible Studies on the Internet at http://www.guidedbiblestudies.com, and now have Christian students in every part of the world. We are especially proud of our support of the United States Chaplain Service, as our studies are provided to soldiers in some of the most dangerous areas of the world.  We also take special delight in providing Bible Studies to the remotest villages through Missionaries, and are both amazed and humbled that our studies are now both translated and present in Mainland China.

His Spirit moves fast and sure and we strive to keep up with the Things of God that He Wills us to do.  Every member of our organization and our congregation is committed to our ministry; every dime we can scrape together, every prayer we can form, every hour we can work, we try to focus on our efforts toward providing solid Bible Studies based on the Word of God free to hungry Christians.  Every congregation member, author, teacher and employee with Becker Bible Studies is committed to providing the highest level of Bible teaching possible.  To that end, most are enrolled in professional studies, and attend full-time classes through DLP at Liberty University, besides providing resources, support, teachings and writings to keep our ministry moving and growing.

Sometimes we struggle with not having enough time in the day and we get tired, and wonder how we can keep going.  Every once in a while we must endure attacks of Satan and his pathetic attempts to discourage our commitment to Christ and the moving of His Spirit.  Prayers for strength, time and endurance are greatly needed, as we try to balance everything we do to His Timing.  Our focus remains upon teaching the Word of God and getting it to those who are desperately seeking His Word, without regard to nationality, religion, monetary gain, political boundaries, social acceptance, theological debate or barriers placed in our path.  We depend on others to make our ministry their own, by remembering Becker Bible Studies teachers in their prayers, and we are blessed beyond measure as a result.
