We in the church assume everyone in the outside world understands the basic beliefs of Christianity. More and more, this is not the case at all. Even here in the United States, where Christian media outlets and churches abound, there are many people who have no idea what the Gospel message is, or why they would want to be saved. This series of articles, which is ongoing, will strive to answer some of the most basic issues concerning our faith. Although it is designed primarily for nonbelievers and new Christians, it may prove useful for some long-time church members as well.
